When installing the printer driver, the MFP is not found.
If the multifunction device is not automatically searched, enter the name (host name) or IP address of the multifunction device and search again.
This page uses the IP address as an example.
1. Close the message window.
Click the [OK] button in the “MFP cannot be found on the network.” message window.
2. Display the condition input screen.
Click the [Specify conditions…] button.
3. Enter the IP address of the MFP to search for.
Enter the IP address of the multifunction device and click the [Search] button.
4. Check the searched MFPs.
After the MFP is found, proceed with the installation.
When you cannot search even if you specify the conditions
A network connection may not have been established. Please check the following three points.
- ● Check if the multifunction device is turned on.
- ● Check to see if your router or hub is powered on or not working.
- ● Check if the LAN cable is connected correctly.
